Chapter 2 : Composition & Description of Operation Board
The Operation Board lies at the upper place of controller and consists
of LCD, switch, key-board as the picture given below:

1. Description of Operation
Board
- (1) LCD : Indicates all sorts of information and state
- (2) Key-board : Device for all operations.
Difference in operation according to the different state between Work and
Prog.
- (3) Key switch : Possible state for knitting on Work side.
Operation state of each function on Prog side.
- (4) R. Start switch : Usable only at the knitting mode(Work)
Usable for restarting of knitting after cancel knitting of one of a pair
for
the failure of yarn or needle during knitting.
Keep pressing for one second On action, "Q'rtn --- " is indicated
on both place
of upper sock and State Indication Part at upper key-board.
- (5) Computer power switch : It lies at the upper left side of controller
and controls power of controller.
The main power switch on the lower right side should be on.
- (6) Stop, start, jog switch : Machine stop, start and jog switch are
on the upper right side of controller and one more jog switch is on the
upper left side.
Usable for stop and checking operation of machine.
2. LCD Screen Description
- (1) Needle indicating part : Shows the needle settled at present.
- (2) Oil/Pair : Shows the volume of inserted oil.
- (3) X position : Shows the position of encoder with the center place
of needle.
- (4) Knitting pattern : Shows the on-knitting pattern. (1,2,C)
- (5) Knitting position indicating part : Shows the current position on
knitting.
The arrow mark is appointed.
- (6) Speed indicating part : Shows the current actual working speed.
- (7) Chain name indicating part : Shows the chain data name used for
chain-inputting
- (8) Y length : Shows the number of total courses until the current step.
- (9) Pattern indicating part : Shows the current pattern data name.
- (10) Ring blower state indicating part : Shows the state of Ring blower(ON,
AUTO, OFF)
- (11) Planned Quantity : Shows the specific knitting quantity.
->Specified with key "F7"
and 4 digits on knitting mode.
- (12) Produced Quantity : Shows the total produced quantity. It can be
erased by pressing key "0"
- (13) Operating chain number : Shows the current active number out of
6 usable chain(1-6).
- (14) Current step : Shows the current step number on knitting.
- (15) Stitch : Shows the stitch of current step specified on chain.
Stitch value can be changed by pressing key "F8" on knitting mode.("

Key + SET Key)
- (16)Current step length : Shows the number of courses specified at the
current chain step.
- (17) Current step speed: Shows the speed of the current actual step.
- (18) Current step motion: Shows the motion of current step
Wait : Keep all states of motion on rubber and heel.
Pat : Shows the pattern knitting on neck and sole.
F.S : Number 1 to 40 -> Shows the corresponding
aircam motion.
- (19) Error indicating screen : Shows the state of error like broken
needle or falling yarn.
